I received the worms about 3 weeks ago and they look great so far. I'm very pleased with my purchase. Thank you!
The worms arrived alive and moister than earlier Meme orders which I think were in dry peat. I added the shipment to a bin with moistened cardboard. After 2 weeks the bin developed a sour smell and I began to notice dead mature worms. After that I divided the order in half and placed worms in two outdoor bins. Crossing my fingers that they will begin to thrive in their new home.
the worms arrived fine; however, the box was terribly beaten and looked ready to come apart. i think that the only saving grace was the amount of tape used to keep it together PLUS there was no bag. at least if there would have been a bag - of some kind - if the box came apart then the contents could have been spared but with the worms and bedding loose like they were there would have been no hope if the box came open. i in the future i am not sure if i would want my purchases to be shipped from california or not. i've never had a problem with the coming from georgia. maybe this was an isolated incident, maybe not. hopefully so.
